30 Day Exercise Challenge

Alright, I admit it.  I have been majorly slacking in the exercise department of being healthy and fit since the beginning of the year.  Ok, that is not entirely true.  The first couple of weeks of 2012, I was doing great and working out at least for 20 minutes a day.  Then I became swamped at work and it was one of the first things to go.  And now it is the FOURTH, yes, the 4th month of the year and Nellie has not hit her groove. Boo.

Why do I do that to myself?  I know that I feel so much better after I exercise and it puts pep in my step for the next 24 hours.  Sure, I entered and completed three 5ks since January 1 and have exercised sporadically here and there but sadly exercise is not a constant part of my life like it once was.  Therefore, I am making a conscience effort this month to get moving.  I started today with an intense 30 minutes on the treadmill.

What gets you motivated after a long lull in your fitness routine?
